One of the best things I've done recently for working on my photography skills is to sign up for a 52 Week Challenge. Every week a new topic is posted, this photo being from Week One - Cemetaries. Having only one topic/week allows me to put more time and effort into taking, choosing, and editing my picture. Or, as in the case of Week Three - Interior Architecture (see "52 Weeks" album on my Flickr account), gives me a whole week to figure out how to creatively edit a somewhat crappy photo.
